That precious infant who only sleeps, poops, and eats is loved beyond measure simply because they exist. Somewhere along life’s journey we start to believe that love is conditional. If we do x, y, or z they will love us. Those who are for us don’t need for us to perform before they love us. Those whose love is conditional can just as easily withhold that love once again if we start to under perform. Celebrate those who offer unconditional love.
