We torture ourselves by engaging in activities which we don’t wish to take part in because we’re afraid to be honest with those around us. Saying no or I’m not interested is okay. It’s important to be honest with ourselves about the life we wish to live. Bowing to another’s wishes isn’t something we should do unless we have a shared vision.
