Most of us have this image in our minds of “if I just had that” whatever that thing is, we would be happy. For some it’s the perfect partner, others the ideal job, or their faith, and still for others it’s massive amounts of money. The flaw in our thinking is there is no such thing as a perfect partner. What we can hope for is a partner who loves and appreciates us. Some jobs are better than others. Like most things, our attitudes towards our job has a lot to do with our fulfillment. Our faith – Jesus changes everything. However, that doesn’t mean our world will be without conflict, trials and tribulations. A huge bank account doesn’t guarantee happiness. All we need do is peruse social media to see the dysfunction and unhappiness among some of the richest people in the world.
