Anger is an acid

Happy wise Wednesday. Our positive quote of the day states: “Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured,” by Mark Twain. It’s important to ask ourselves who are we angry with? It’s easier when we can point to a specific person or incident as the root cause of our anger, frustration, and unhappiness. It’s more difficult when we allow ourselves the time for some quiet introspection and we come to the painful realization that we’re angry with the person in the mirror. A myriad of our problems stem from decisions we made or didn’t make. Nonetheless, operating from a place of anger doesn’t improve our circumstances nor our disposition.
