Action and compassion

Happy trusting Thursday. Our positive quote of the day comes from James 2:16 (NIV) and states: “If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?” The world is full of scammers. Because of that we have become guarded and a little jaded. Yet we’re presented with the opportunity to assist others, provide a meal, donate items, offer a prayer. We can’t become so consumed by doubt that we fail to see the person before us who has a genuine need. It does no good to look away or simply wish them well.
