Promises that are not kept, diminish day by day

Happy meaningful Monday. Our positive quote of the day is a German Proverb and it states: “Promises are like the full moon, if they are not kept at once they diminish day by day.” From the moment a promise is echoed our ethics are tested. We either become the person who upholds their word or the person who shrinks away. Being a person of integrity requires thought before we speak and action thereafter.
