Moving past disappointment

Sometimes when people walk away from us, or we suffer disappointments, heartache, the loss of a friendship, job or opportunity we become extremely critical of our self. Self-reflection is a great thing; however, self-assassination serves no purpose. Some disappointments, losses and missed opportunities occur because God has a better door for us to walk through and it takes releasing the old to make room for the new.
