Life is a succession of lessons

Happy thought provoking Tuesday. Our positive quote of the day states: “Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood,” by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Our car breaks down and we wonder why us. Layoffs occur and our names make the list. A relationship ends and we find ourselves alone. Naturally there are some things which truly are out of our control which happens to us. But others things happen for us despite how it might feel in that moment to shake us up and make us realize we deserve better. We can do better! The car which breaks down causing us to seek a mechanic who is able to repair the small malfunction, which if left unchecked could have caused tremendous problems. The job, which we were over qualified for, released us propelling us into a better job. The relationship, which wasn’t the best for us, freed us to find our soulmate.
