Learning to seek help

Happy fantastic Friday. Our positive quote of the day by Gene Roddenberry states:  “In a very real sense, we are all aliens on a strange planet. We spend most of our lives reaching out and trying to communicate. If during our whole lifetime, we could reach out and really communicate with just two people, we are indeed very fortunate.” We can become so engrossed with being independent that we forget to ask for assistance, when needed. Despite having those individuals in our lives who we consider to be friends and confidants. Seeking help or allowing others to see our vulnerability doesn’t mean we’re weak. It means we’re savvy enough to realize not all burdens can or should be endured alone. We’re blessed to have those who will answer our calls, not pass judgment, and just be there offering quiet strength and support.
