We go to bed with 100 things on our minds and wake up with 101. Then we wonder why we didn’t receive the restorative balance sleep should bring. Just as we plan our work or shopping schedule, we should build in time for reflection, meditation, and conversations with God. If we want to live a less stressful and more relaxing life, we must incorporate purposeful relaxation time into our daily routine.
